Students and our Level 3 teacher David left NYEA around 12:30 and made their way towards the subway via Fulton St. After taking the 4/5 line and transferring to the 7, we were en route to Queens, namely Sunnyside Gardens. Once in the neighborhood, we decided to take a stroll through the business district (shopping area) and then decided to eat something, so we went to Marabella, a Sicilian pizzeria in the area. After walking some more afterwards, we decided to take the 7 train back.

Students and our Level 3 teacher David left the school after noon and made its way to the nearest 2/3 station. After exiting 72nd St, we headed over to Central Park, first stopping by Le Pain Quotidien to purchase some snacks and drinks.

Once inside the park, we decided to enter the lawn adjacent to Sheep Meadow that had more of a natural feel and with not such an open space. Sitting surrounded by different types of trees, we had our little picnic, talked and rested for the remainder of the time.

NYEA students and out Level 3 teacher David left the school shortly after noon and took 2/3 train to 14th St, then a bus via the Hudson River. Once we arrived on 9th Ave, we decided to grab a bite to eat over at Chelsea Market.

One of the students recommended a good taqueria called Los Mariscos, where we had delicious fish and shrimp tacos. Afterwards, we went on foot to the nearby High Line, checking out the flowers and plants, artwork, old and modern architecture side-by-side, as well as the beautiful waterfront of the Hudson. After walking all the way to 34th St, we decided to end our trip.
