Last week’s field trip to the Fine and Raw Chocolate Factory in Brooklyn was certainly sweet! Students got to learn all about how “raw” chocolate is made, and even got to sample some of the artisanal confections! Afterwards, we headed to the nearby Tortilleria Los Hermanos, a favorite among NYEA staff and students, for a delicious taco lunch. It’s safe to say everyone headed home pleasantly stuffed to start their weekends!

Group left school shortly after noon and took the local 2/3 line to Times Square, then headed on foot towards Bryant Park.
Upon arriving, we decided to take a group photo before splitting up. Some of us decided to get a bite right away while others
simply checked out the market stalls. A few of us decided on trying a burger and fries known for using duck bacon and duck fat
in the food. Others enjoyed different food over at the indoor food court/restaurant. Afterwards, we took more photos of each
other in front of the Christmas tree and watched others ice skating.
