NYEA students and our Level 3 teacher David left the school shortly after 12:00 and took the 4/5 subway from Fulton St. to 59th St. in Midtown. Once we arrived, we walked via the East River to transfer to the cable car en route to Roosevelt Island.
Shortly after making it to the island, we walked around and took some photos of ourselves and surroundings. Afterwards, we stopped at a place called Piccolo Trattoria, where we ordered lunch such as pizza and made our way down to the waterfront. Enjoying the view from the water’s edge, we took some more photos and then decided to call it a day from the hot summer sun.
