Field trip to Golden Unicorn Restaurant (02/08/2019)

Group left the school shortly after noon and took the express bus towards Chinatown. After arriving at the bus stop near Grand Street, we walked back towards East Broadway and made our way up to the third floor of the Golden Unicorn Restaurant.
The restaurant appeared to be full with a private party going on in one room and there even seemed to be a liquor store inside with a shelf of displayed liquor bottles.
Once seated, we ordered different types of dim sum dishes, including shrimp and pork shumai rolls, an assortment of steamed buns, as well as steamed pork with pumpkin. Thanks to the help of one Taiwanese student, Ya Tang, ordering was made a lot more simple. Joao from Brazil, never really a fan of Asian food in general, learned how to use chopsticks and instantly became a fan of the typical Cantonese food at hand. In addition to the food, some delicious Oolong tea was also available to drink.
After the delicious meal and fun conversations, we decided to exit Golden Unicorn and parted ways.
