Meet Kate, she is our Level 1 teacher!

Kate was born in North Carolina, USA, where she was raised and lived most of her life. After attending North Carolina State University, she taught English in Thailand for 3 years. Kate says “I am passionate about teaching English, traveling and photography. One of the reasons I am so passionate about teaching English is the international exchange of learning and understanding that happens with teaching. I love working at New York English Academy because I believe New York English Academy is one of the best places for international students to come and learn English in one of the most exciting cities. I enjoy getting to know each student and am excited to teach students from all over the world!”
