Photoville is described as “New York’s Premier Photo Festival”, during which Brooklyn Bridge Park in Dumbo hosts exhibitions by professional and student photographers alike. Last Friday, NYEA visited the festival for our weekly field trip. The students really enjoyed taking in the unique exhibitions, which included photojournalism series that explored social issues such as human rights, culture, and life in New York City and abroad. It was another unseasonably warm day, so after spending a few hours checking out the exhibits, we headed to Shake Shack for some ice cream.
We definitely look forward to checking out this annual festival again next year!
