The Brooklyn Botanic Garden is the perfect place to go to escape the hustle and bustle of New York City. It’s always been a favorite field trip among our students and last Tuesday was no different. We were lucky enough to go on a beautiful day- one of the few so far this spring! The first thing we did when we got there was head to the cafe to eat lunch. Even there, we were surrounded by beautiful buildings, flowers and plant life. Next, we checked out the indoor gardens, where visitors can experience four different types of environments. Within minutes we were in a desert and a tropical rain forest! For the remainder of the afternoon we made our way through the rest of the garden, stopping to take pictures of the beautiful plant life and of course, to take some selfies. Overall, it was a beautiful peaceful field trip. We look forward to going back soon!
