Field trip to New York Federal Hall (Friday, April 14, 2017)

Combined classes left at 11:00 am and headed over to Wall Street to go to the Federal Hall building. While inside, students took pictures immediately of the dome structure above before proceeding to the stone/slab where George Washington stood during the first inauguration of his presidency and gave his inaugural address.

Afterwards, we all headed into two different rooms observing a timeline of American historical events, as well as the natural world.

More pictures were then taken downstairs in the restroom area, where there were, strangely enough, beautiful solid pillar structures in the waiting area.

Then, we all briefly checked out the gift shop before exiting the building to take photos of ourselves in front of George Washington’s statue.

In the end, we headed to a public square in the area to sit, talk and have lunch.
