Friday, March 17th, 2017- Field Trip to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade

On March 17th, everyone is Irish, or at least that’s what it felt like at the NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade- the oldest and largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade in the world. NYEA students and staff dressed in their best green clothes and headed up to 59th St. to watch the parade. Despite it being unseasonably cold, everyone had a great time watching the marching bands go by. Eventually, though, we grew tired of the cold and headed to a pub to continue the celebration. We had a great time eating lunch, chatting, and of course, drinking some Guinness. Overall, it was a great time, and we’re excited to return next year- hopefully with some warmer weather!
